My Fitness Journey

I chose to talk about my fitness journey because it is something I have been very passionte about from a young age. I grew up playing multiple sports in school and I danced competitivley for twelve years. Sports are incredibly important to me because they provided me with a good group of friends and a structured schedule. I have always strived to maintain a healthy lifestyle. My parents always made sure that I was involved in something that was not academic related, so I could let off steam and not feel like my whole world revolved around homework. I believe that having a daily exercise regimen is healthy not only physically, but internally too, such as for my mental health. Coming to college changed my whole life not only my social life, but my comfort level and daily routines. That is why it was important for me to start a solid schedule that included working out. This was important for me because when I workout it allows me to evaluate on my life and reflect on things. How I plan on on collecting original material for this fitness blog is when I go exercise I will provide photos and videos. For unit 4 I will provide an audio story and find people at the gym who are also passionate about working out and have them give audio advice about their personal journey. I will also upload a workout video of my routine at the gym and what steps I take to live a healthy lifestyle.

Here are some links that will help me develop my blog and topic throughout this semester. https://sarahfit.com/brunch-cooking-class-with-paleomg/ this blog post was posted by Sarah Dussault. Sarah is a fitness focused blogger, but also has healthy and clean eating recipes, ideas and tips imbedded on her page.

The next like is also posted by Sarah Dussault. This is one of her Youtube videos showing her step by step work out for circuit training. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fzb2DxFGVVk I like the way she explains things and her blog page is organized easily for people who traffic her page a lot like I will be.

This last link is about how exercise and mental health correlate and how I believe it is important to not only think about physical looks, but caring about my mental health.
